According to the Columbia County Planning Commission, there are plans underway to begin construction on some new subdivisions throughout Columbia County. There is a final plat for section one of Tanner Oaks, located off William Smith Boulevard. Section One of Tanner Oaks is approved to have 21 lots within stretched within 8.15 acres. CSRA Blue Sky, LLC is seeking a preliminary plat approval for the development of Clarinbridge, Phase 1 subdivision, located off Canterbury Farms Boulevard, the the Canterbury Farms development. Staff recommended an approval for the preliminary plat. The preliminary plat for Phase One of Clarinbridge will consist of 41 lots stretched among 14.37 acres. CSRA Blue Sky, LLC also seeks preliminary plat approval for Hartstown subdivision, located in the Canterbury Farm development. Phase One of Hartstown will consist of 20 lots on 8.88 acres. The average lot size in Hartstown is 13,250 square feet. It is propose to have sidewalks on both sides of the street. There is 1.27 acres of open space that is propose to be deeded to the homeowners association. Staff recommended approval for the preliminary plat.
