With all the new construction throughout Columbia County, in the city of Grovetown in particular, schools have become over crowded. We are definitely due for some new rezoning so that the classroom sizes would be more even throughout the county. There will be a new elementary school built off of William Few Parkway that is scheduled to open for the 2016-2017 school year. This will greatly help to lower the number of students in each classroom. Smaller classroom sizes means a better education for your children!

Canterbury Farms consists of several phases, based on lot size and builder

Builders include: Faircloth, Winchester Builders and Ivey Residential who has lots in Brantley Cove, Lancaster and Ellingon at Canterbury Farms.

Southwind village, one of Columbia County's newest neighborhood developments, is underway off of Hereford farm road, in Evans, Georgia. The neighborhood will have about 96 lots.

One of the builders in Southwind Village will be Wilson Parker Homes. They will have homes in the low $200,000 range up to mid $350,000. Square footage ranges from around 2,200 all the way up to 6,000 plus square feet.
