Jones Creek is an outstanding public access course in the West Augusta Area.  The course is nestled in gently sloping hills surrounded by beautiful pine trees and hardwoods.  High-end homes surround the course, though the homes are not distracting or intrusive.  The course maintains its well-groomed appearance year-round.  The course was created to ensure a variety of golf holes in length, angle, and direction of play.  Guest will find a well-stocked golf shop, grillroom, practice facility, and courteous staff.

West Lake Country Club

West Lake Country Club´s private, TifEagle golf course in the Augusta area runs 10.0-10.5 on the stimpmeter. The course offers strategic maneuvers for any golfer to enjoy. Water comes into play during the 18-hole course, challenging golfers´ skills and effort. The Club was founded in 1969 and is located within the gated community of West Lake, a 1000+ home neighborhood in Columbia County, second-fastest growing city in Georgia. Nearly half of West Lake´s residents are members of the Club, which comprising of more than 900 members.

Goshen Plantation Golf Course

Goshen Plantation Golf Course, built in 1970, is a beautiful 18 hole course. The course supplies oversized greens, with water often coming into play. The course includes a driving range, practice green, practice bunker, and a well-stocked Pro Shop. The greens are extremely fast, with framed bunkering and receptive rolling hills, which are fun to play and a great test of skill. The staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. The course is great training ground for a Tour PGA player!

The First Tee of Augusta

The First Tee of Augusta was created by the World Golf Foundation to provide young people with all ethnic and economic backgrounds an opportunity to develop values such as honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship through the sport of golf as well as through character education. Engaging young people in life skills and leadership, First Tee of Augusta believes participants will become valuable assets to their community. The First Tee sets itself apart from other junior golf programs by incorporating the unique components of golf experience and successful life and leadership skills that only the game of golf can ensure. The course is a public, nine-hole regulation golf course with unbeatable green fees and convenient location to downtown Augusta.

Forest Hill Golf Course

Forest Hill Golf Course offers matchless contours and wide fairways, in addition to the course´s pond which comes into play on a few holes. The course is known to be infamously fun with the greens being as equally tough. During the springtime the course is dizzy with bursts of color through the enveloping, tall pines. Beautiful azaleas and dogwoods line the course, which was redesigned by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay in 1986. Bobby Jones won the Southeastern Open on the course in 1930! The course is open all year giving access to the course´s constant changing character.

Pointe South Golf Club

Pointe South Golf Club is a very fun and scenic course to play! The course is an extremely challenging course at a great value. Pointe South is truly a hidden treasure. Pointe South´s gently rolling, well-maintained greens are slow, which adds to the difficulty of the course. Pointe South allows golfers the opportunity to escape from the traffic and confusion in the second-largest city in Georgia. The staff at Pointe South is courteous and very helpful. This hidden gem of a course is one of the greatest courses you will find for your money.

Gordon Lakes Golf Course

Gordon Lakes Golf Course is an absolute haven for golf-connoisseurs. The long, even-rolling fairways were beautifully designed by the renowned golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The course is located on Fort Gordon, a military base in Augusta, Georgia. This 27-hole golf facility has hosted the All Armed Forces Championship and the All Army Golf Trials. The course is truly a championship layout with large Bermuda greens that roll well. A highly recommended course!

Augusta Municipal Golf Course

Augusta Municipal Golf Course is an absolute bargain. The front nine are notoriously unforgiving with their small and fast greens. The tight fairways require accuracy, skill, and precision. The back nine has larger greens to ensure a nice ending on a wonderful course. The municipal course plays to a par 72. The professional and friendly staff are also an impressive addition to the overall atmosphere of the course. The course comes with a fully packed Pro-Shop and tee times are accepted daily.

Belle Meade Country Club

Belle Meade Country Club is a facility in Thomson, Georgia. The Belle Meade course, originally built in 1967, was recently renovated and opened in 2005 and even now appears untouched and pristine. A very courteous and well-maintained crew and staff ensure comfort and safety on the course. The golf course continuing improves each and every passing year. The fairways stay in excellent shape with exciting and challenging holes along the medium-length layout which is very adequate for a regulation course. The course is certainly a challenge for golfers of all levels. A nice blend of tradition and Southern hospitality genuinely make Belle Meade one-of-a-kind.
